Autonomous convoy moving through Brandenburg terrain

CORRIDOR.

Europe's Autonomous Mobility Corridor for secure Defence unmanned ground logistics.

// Thesis

Brandenburg is Europe's Gateway to NATO's Eastern Flank.

The defence of NATO's Eastern Flank will not be decided in Poland. It will be decided by the ability to move reinforcements, ammunition, fuel and autonomous logistics systems rapidly from Western Europe to the front.

Germany is already the logistical pivot for NATO redeployments eastward. Current EU and NATO Military Mobility initiatives focus explicitly on corridors from North Sea ports through Germany to Poland — and onward to the Eastern Flank.

Brandenburg is uniquely positioned to become Europe's center for autonomous military mobility — connecting industrial production in Western Europe with NATO's operational requirements on the Eastern Flank.

// Brandenburg's Position

  • Directly bordering Poland
  • On the main axis toward NATO's Eastern Flank
  • Between Germany's industrial centers and operational theatres in Poland and the Baltics
  • Large available areas for test ranges
  • Existing military infrastructure and training grounds
  • Immediate proximity to Berlin as political decision-making center
Why Brandenburg

Six advantages no other German state can combine.

Brandenburg is the only geography in Europe where political access, sovereign test terrain, an industrial pivot, transformation capital and engineering talent already sit inside a single corridor.

0129 km

To the Chancellery

Brandenburg wraps around Berlin. Federal ministries, the Bundestag and BMVg decision-makers sit inside a 45-minute drive of every test site in the state.

Sovereign Test Terrain

Former WGT and Bundeswehr training areas — Lehnin, Lieberose, Jüterbog, Wittstock — offer restricted airspace and large-scale unmanned ground testing unmatched in Western Europe.

NATO Eastern Flank Corridor

Direct land routes to Poland, Czechia and the Baltics. Brandenburg is the physical hinge of European military mobility eastward.

An Industrial Base Ready to Pivot

Grünheide, Schwarzheide, Eisenhüttenstadt — gigafactories, battery chemistry and steel. The capabilities defence-tech of the 2030s actually needs, already here.

Structural Transformation Capital

Lusatia coal-exit funds and EU cohesion instruments — billions in deployable transformation capital, looking for sovereign industrial use cases.

Engineering & Autonomy Talent

BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, TH Wildau and Potsdam's research cluster — an autonomy, AI and aerospace pipeline directly into the corridor.

Operative Building Blocks

Five instruments. One corridor.

  1. 01

    Mobility Accelerator

6-month operator-led program for 4–6 European defence and dual-use ventures per cohort, anchored in Potsdam.

  2. 02

    UGV Test Range

Sovereign large-scale test environment for unmanned ground systems on Brandenburg's former military estates.

  3. 03

    Defence AI Lab

Applied research on autonomy, perception and command AI — co-located with BTU and TH Wildau.

  4. 04

    Industrial Transformation Program

Re-tooling Lusatia and the Berlin–Brandenburg industrial belt for the defence economy.

  5. 05

    Brandenburg Defence Fund

Patient capital aligned with sovereign European priorities — co-investing with EDF, ASAP and EDIRPA.

For Founders

The accelerator built around what defence-tech founders actually need.

Most accelerators teach you to pitch. Corridor hands you the customer, the test range, the prime contractor, and the procurement pathway — and keeps you non-dilutive while you reach TRL 7.

01Non-Dilutive

First capital without giving up equity.

Up to €250K non-dilutive at cohort entry, with a path to follow-on co-investment from the Brandenburg Defence Fund and aligned European LPs. You keep the cap table clean — and the IP.

02Customer Access

Direct line to BMVg, BAAINBw & Bundeswehr buyers.

Berlin sits 29 km away. Cohort founders get structured introductions to BAAINBw requirements officers, the Cyber Innovation Hub der Bundeswehr (CIHBw), BMVg Planungsamt, Kommando Streitkräftebasis Logistik and NATO DIANA programme managers — the people who actually sign the contracts.

03Test Range

TRL 4 → TRL 7 on sovereign German terrain.

Move through the full Bundeswehr-relevant maturity ladder in a single cohort. Sovereign UGV ranges on former WGT and Bundeswehr estates — Lehnin, Lieberose, Jüterbog, Wittstock — with restricted airspace, live convoy scenarios and WTD-grade instrumentation. Most accelerators teach you to pitch; Corridor hands you the keys to the proving ground.

04Primes

Co-development with Rheinmetall, HENSOLDT, KNDS, Airbus, Diehl.

Each cohort is built around real capability gaps published by tier-1 German and European primes. Selected ventures enter framed PoCs with NDA, integration support and a defined route into ASAP, EDIRPA and §150 GWB procurement — not a beauty contest.

05Grants

Automated grant pipeline — SPRIN-D, EXIST, ZIM, ProFIT, EDF.

Corridor runs a continuously screened funding stack for every cohort venture: SPRIN-D challenges, EXIST-Forschungstransfer (up to €1M), BMWK ZIM, ILB ProFIT Brandenburg (up to €3M non-dilutive), Brandenburg Innovationsgutscheine, EU EDF, EUDIS and EIC Accelerator (up to €2.5M). Applications are pre-drafted, deadlines tracked, co-applicants matched — you ship product, we ship paperwork.

06Compliance

AWV, Dual-Use 2021/821 & Geheimschutz — handled.

In-house counsel and cleared operators help you structure dual-use products under AWG/AWV, navigate EU Dual-Use Regulation 2021/821, and stand up Sicherheitsüberprüfung / Geheimschutzbetreuung (BMWK) and Facility Security Clearance. Compliance becomes a moat, not a blocker.

07Operators

Mentorship from people who used the kit.

Former Bundeswehr battalion commanders, NATO logistics officers, BAAINBw veterans and second-time defence-tech founders. 1:3 mentor density. Problems before pitches.

08Signal

Alliance-level credibility from day one.

A Corridor badge is a force multiplier for your next round, your next pilot, your next allied market. Backed by the State of Brandenburg, aligned with NATO DIANA and SPRIN-D, recognised across EDA member nations.

Modelled on NATO DIANA, Entrepreneur First's def/acc and Starburst — adapted to German industrial reality and the Brandenburg corridor. Challenge-led intake, in-residency core sprint, structured Phase 2 follow-on. No demo-day cliff.
